Pakistan’s T20I captain Sahibzada Farhan has moved up one place to No. 2 in the ICC T20I batting rankings, overtaking India’s Ishan Kishan.
Farhan now has 883 rating points, while Kishan has dropped two places to third with 866.
India’s Abhishek Sharma has regained the top spot with 897 points. The left-hander made a quickfire century against New Zealand in Wellington on Tuesday, in the third game of the series. He reached his hundred in just 35 balls and finished with 113 from 38 deliveries as India won by six wickets and clinched the series. The innings lifted him past his teammate Kishan.
Farhan earned his rating points against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi this month. In his first series as Pakistan’s full-time T20I captain, he scored a half-century in each of the three matches. He finished with 238 runs at an average of 79.33 and a strike rate of 165.27, and won Player of the Series.
His total set a record for the most runs in a three-match bilateral T20I series between two Full Members. He broke Abhishek’s mark of 229 runs against Afghanistan earlier in 2026.
England’s Harry Brook is fourth in the rankings with 793 points.
